you ask people for ONE thing three weeks ago. and they’re SURE about doing it and than it’s suddenly ALL about THEM and how much they have to do. and I can’t do anything now. I’m so STUPID, trusting people.
“In the space between yes and no, there’s a lifetime. It’s the difference between the path you walk and the one you leave behind; it’s the gap between who you thought you could be and who you really are; its the legroom for the lies you’ll tell yourself in the future.”—Jodi Picoult (Change Of Heart)
i kinda DON’T understand how some “pretty” girls just don’t get it’s NOT all about “pretty” photoshoped things and being skinny and winning stupid competitions and being the best photographer in the world and making it big. it’s NOT all about being the nicest person and owning the best pair off leather shoes or a friggin designer’s something or i dunno what.
and i’m just thinking. is that really all people this girls think about or do they think it’s all they can show? and i’m not even gonna start here.
don’t they know we’re missing out on so much and that all of that things are not just “pretty”?
“No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.”—John Donne (via ironeyes)
